My name is Ava Carr and I am a recent graduate from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design. Since I was a little girl, I have always been excited about the concept of an idea beginning as a thought in my mind that can transform into something someone else enjoys and takes with them in their own life. This is the essence of design and creativity that led me to pursue a career in fashion design.

The zone I like to work in is Contemporary Women's Ready to Wear, however I also enjoy exploring evening wear, resort wear, and activewear. I also am excited about textiles, which informs my love for knitwear as well as print design. I am passionate about art-driven design and the creative process. I admire the empowering quality clothing can have to allow women to step into who they know they are, and who they want to be.

I have an entrepreneurial spirit with a hunger to learn. I believe my education and experience interning with LoveShackFancy has equipped me with various skills important to assisting a design team.
